Too Cool For Midlife
Using Ritual To Light Your Midlife Fire
There are many life-cycle rituals and celebrations that we all know... birth, graduation, marriage, and death. But what about all the transitions that happen in our midlife that seem to just pass by without proper acknowledgment?
In this episode, Darcie Purcell sits down with cultural anthropologist Gina Bria, who has studied rituals around the globe for over 25 years to talk about the history of ritual. She will share WHY it is important to create rituals and HOW to create a ritual (your "ritual recipe"). Gina also shares why transitions that we may not be thrilled about in life or looking forward to can be powerfully transformed to light that midlife fire by creating ritual.
